The XEL FOUNDATION, a 501(c)(3) organization, facilitates initiatives for individuals affected by Autism by promoting inclusivity and innovative research. Supported by The R&R Express Family of Companies, The XEL FOUNDATION was founded in 2021 with an initial donation from R&R Express CEO Richard S. Francis and his wife in honor of their grandson with Autism. At that time, Autism affected 1 in 54 children. Francis asked R&R employees to donate $.54 per load, matched by the company, totaling $1.08 per load. Those generous donations, along with donations from other corporate and private donors, are helping revolutionize Autism research. The XEL FOUNDATION partners with The Autism Discovery & Treatment Fund, which is dedicated to advancing Autism prevention, treatments, and medical practices. The foundation also works with KultureCity to create inclusive opportunities for neurodiverse individuals.

LTR contributes to the THE “LEX GO! CLUB” at The XEL Foundation
LTR and its employees provides 54 cents to every load that will be donated to the XEL Foundation. Additionally, our parent corporation, R&R Express matches 54 cents to every load.
The 54 cents represents the 1 in 54 children diagnosed with autism based on CDC statistics in 2021 when the foundation was established. At the time the foundation was started the rate of autism was 1 in 54. A few short weeks later, the number increased 23% to 1 in 44. That’s a number the foundation won’t accept. The XEL Foundation decided to continue to use 54 to show the increasing numbers of those affected by autism.
